Why did I choose my major?
As you already know, I’m a biochemistry student. I chose this major because I like biology and how microorganisms do incredible things. Since I can remember I have liked to understand the origin of things.
When I was a child I wanted to be a doctor because I always liked science. Despite this, when I Ieft school I wasn’t sure what I wanted to study but in Bachillerato that there is biochemistry major. My other option was biotechnology engineering, but they are dedicated to the industry.
Finally, what helped me decide were the scientists who won the Nobel Prize in 2020 for the genetic tool CRISPR. My university experience so far has been good, however, I feel that the pandemic has taken away a lot of experiences and the possibility of relating to my friends.
